Create/edit a Not open on time notification

A Not open on time notification can notify users if the system was not disarmed during the arrival hours specified.

Important: Business hours must be defined and enabled in order to receive the Not open on time Event Notification. For more information about business hours, see Enable/configure business hours.

Create/edit a Not open on time notification

A Not open on time notification can be created and edited using the Alarm.com app and Alarm.com customer website.

To create/edit a Not open on time notification using the Alarm.com app:
  1. Log into the Alarm.com app.
  2. Tap Menu.
  3. Tap Notifications.
  4. Tap Settings.
  5. To edit the notification, tap to select the not open on time notification.
  6. If the notification has not been created:
    1. Tap Add.
    2. Tap to expand Use A Template.
    3. In Business, tap More.
    4. Tap Not open on time.
  7. Enter the desired name for the notification.
  8. In When the selected events occur, select Not Opened on Time.
  9. In Recipients, tap Add to select notification recipients.
  10. Tap the entries in Address Book to be notified, or tap Add Contact to add a new Address Book entry.
  11. Tap Close.
  12. Verify the notification is configured with the correct settings.
  13. Tap Save.
To create/edit a Not open on time notification using the Alarm.com customer website:
  1. Log into the Alarm.com customer website.
  2. Click Notifications.
  3. To edit the notification, click Edit for the not open on time notification.
  4. If the notification has not been created:
    1. Click New Notification.
    2. Click to select Business.
    3. Click Not open on time.
  5. Enter the desired name for the notification rule.
  6. In When the selected events occur, select Not Opened on Time.
  7. In Recipients, click Add to select notification recipients.
  8. Click the entries in Address Book to be notified, or click New to add a new Address Book entry.
  9. Click Close.
  10. Verify the notification is configured with the correct settings.
  11. Click Save.
