Cannot view live video from a third-party camera

The third-party camera appears in the list of enrolled devices but the live video does not appear.

If the video device does not appear to be connected to the account itself, see The third-party camera cannot complete the discovery process.

Verify the following camera settings: 

  • The camera’s compression algorithm is set to H.264.
  • The camera’s stream and image quality settings are configured properly and meet the bandwidth recommendations. For more information about third-party camera bandwidth requirements, see Third-party camera bandwidth recommendations.
