The third-party camera cannot complete the discovery process
Discover Connected Devices button is missing
- Verify that the account has the Third-Party Cameras service package add-on enabled. The Third-Party Cameras add-on is only available for Commercial Video accounts.
- Verify that an ADC-SVR210, ADC-CSVR20XXP Pro Series, or ADC-CSVR21XXP Pro Series is enrolled on the account. For more information about how to install an ADC-SVR210 or Pro Series CSVR, see:
- Verify that the Stream Video Recorder is using the latest firmware and operating system version. For more information about how to perform a firmware upgrade, see Upgrade the firmware of a video device.
The discovery process fails
Verify that the third-party devices and Stream Video Recorder are installed using a supported networking topology. For diagrams and information about supported network topologies, see the relevant SVR installation guide:
