The third-party camera cannot complete the discovery process
Discover Connected Devices button is missing
- Verify that the account has the Third-Party Cameras service package add-on enabled. The Third-Party Cameras add-on is only available for Commercial Video accounts.
- Verify that a 20XXP or 21XXP Pro Series CSVR is enrolled on the account. For more information about how to install a Pro Series CSVR, see:
- Verify that the Pro Series CSVR is using the latest firmware and operating system version. For more information about how to perform a firmware upgrade, see Upgrade the firmware of a video device.
The discovery process fails
Verify that the third-party cameras are networked downstream of the CSVR. For more information about supported networking layouts, see Supported networking layouts (topology).
