Change a user's name
Secondary system user names can be changed to manage systems with multiple users.
Note: The master user's name cannot be changed using the Alarm.com app or Alarm.com customer website. To change the first and last name of the master user, contact your service provider.
Change a secondary user name
To change a secondary user name using the Alarm.com app:
- Log into the Alarm.com app.
- Tap .
- Tap Users.
- Tap the desired user name to edit.
- Click on the user's current name.
- Enter the user's name in the First Name and Last Name fields.
- Tap Save.
To change a secondary user name using the Alarm.com customer website:
- Log into the Alarm.com customer website.
- Click Users.
- Click the desired user name to edit.
- Click on the user's current name.
- Enter the user's name in the First Name and Last Name fields.
- Click Save.
