What is Z-Wave SmartStart?
Z-Wave SmartStart is a technology that allows Z-Wave devices to be enrolled simply by scanning their QR codes. SmartStart eliminates the need to put panels in Add Device mode or to trigger devices (as is the case when enrolling non-SmartStart S2 devices). Products can be scanned prior to service appointments, greatly reducing the amount of time spent on site.
