Camera LED is blinking green
A blinking green LED on an Alarm.com camera indicates that the camera is locally connected to the network but not fully connected to the Internet.
If the camera's LED is blinking green:
- Verify there is internet access using another device (e.g., a laptop, smartphone, or tablet) on the same network.
- Verify that the network meets the video device's requirements.
- For more information about video device bandwidth and signal strength requirements, see What are the internet service and bandwidth requirements for Alarm.com video devices?.
- To run an Internet speed test, see Perform an Internet speed test.
- Power off the router for a full 60 seconds.
- Reboot the camera and wait 10 seconds.
- If available, connect another camera and power supply and test its connectivity.
- If no other camera is available, factory reset the camera and try again. For model-specific information on this process, see Video Devices.
- To improve network connectivity:
- If the camera is connected using Wi-Fi, try moving it closer to the router.
- If the camera is connected using Ethernet, try using a different Ethernet cable or Ethernet port in the router. Reboot the camera to retry.
- If none of the prior steps resolve the issue, contact CORE Technical Support.
