Can a lock be powered by the LP1501 PoE Door Controller (ADC-AC-LP1501) when using Power over Ethernet (PoE)?

Yes. A lock can be powered by a door controller while using Power over Ethernet (PoE) or PoE+ by jumping a wire from the VO terminal on TB4 to the desired relay terminal.

In the example below, the 1-C terminal from TB5 is being used. For more information about setting up a controller using PoE or PoE+, see LP1501 PoE Door Controller (ADC-AC-LP1501) - Installation Guide.

Important: Make sure that devices receiving power from the controller's VO terminal do not exceed a sum of 625mA for POE or a sum of 1.25A for POE+.
