Do the app and website update in real time?

No. System and device statuses can be updated by refreshing the Alarm.com app or Alarm.com customer website.

If a system condition is still present after refreshing, it may still be active and may need to be resolved or dismissed. Contact your service provider for assistance. For help reaching your service provider, see Contact your service provider.

To refresh the Alarm.com app:

Swipe your finger down on the screen until you see a refreshing icon. It will spin before refreshing the Alarm.com app.

To refresh the Alarm.com customer website:

Click the icn-refresh.svg icon in the upper right corner of the Alarm.com customer website.
