Push Notification Migration
Important: The Push Notification Migration tool is currently available to eligible customers with SMS contacts on the AT&T Network.
The Push Notification Migration tool allows users to migrate from SMS notifications to push notifications. Push notifications ensure notifications arrive to the intended recipient despite any carrier fluctuation.
Note: The SMS contact information remains in the Address Book after migrating to push notifications.

To migrate to push notifications:
- Log in to the Alarm.com app.
- In Switch to Push Notifications? verify the correct phone number is selected, then tap Migrate.
- Tap Remind Me Later to dismiss the Push Notification Tool for 7 days.
- Tap Do Not Show Me This Again to dismiss the Push Notification Tool.
- Allow a minute for the migration to complete.

Frequently asked questions
Will my SMS/text notification still be active after using the Push Notification Migration tool?
No. The SMS/text notification will not be active after using the Push Notification Migration tool. However, the SMS contact information will remain in the Address Book.
Will all of my customers see the Push Notification Migration tool?
No. The login used by the customer will determine if they will see the Push Notification Migration tool.

Requirements
- The login must have permission to view and update notifications
- The login is not linked to other systems
- At least one enabled notification rule with an SMS recipient
- Enterprise logins can only be part of one group
- The account is at least 30 days old
