Receive notifications if the system has not been disarmed by a specific time

Customers can create notifications to be alerted if the system has not been disarmed by a specific time. Available notifications depend on the customer's service package:

For residential service packages, the No-Show Alert notification is available.
For commercial service packages, the Disarming Supervision notification and the No-Show Alert is available.

No-show alert

The No-Show Alert notification notifies users if the system has not been disarmed by a specific user code.

This alert appears as an Arming Supervision Fault in the Event History and indicates the panel was not disarmed by a specific user for a specified time. For more information about how to view a customer's Event History, see View the customer's system Event History.

To create a no-show alert notification using the Customer Website:

Note: The No-Show Alert notification applies only to a specific user. Multiple No-Show Alert notifications can be created.

Log in to the Alarm.com customer website.
Click Notifications.
Click New Notification.
Click No-Show Alert.
Enter a name for the new notification rule.
Using the If the system is NOT disarmed by dropdown menu, select a specific user.
In During this time frame, configure the days and times the user should disarm the system.

Note: If the system is already disarmed and the user does not need to disarm the system, a No-Show Alert notification is still sent.
To choose notification recipients:
1. Click Add.
2. Click the entries in the Address Book to be notified, or click New to add a new Address Book entry.
3. Click Close.
Verify the notification is configured with the correct settings.
Click Save.

To create a no-show alert notification using the Alarm.com app:

Note: The No-Show Alert notification applies only to a specific user. Multiple No-Show Alert notifications can be created.

Log in to the Alarm.com app.
Tap .
Tap Notifications.
Tap .
Tap .
Tap No-Show Alert.
Enter a name for the new notification rule.
If the system is NOT disarmed by dropdown menu, select a specific user.
In During this time frame, configure the days and times the user should disarm the system.

Note: If the system is already disarmed and the user does not need to disarm the system, a No-Show Alert notification is still sent.
To choose notification recipients:
1. Tap Add.
2. Tap the entries in the Address Book to be notified, or tap + Add Contact to add a new Address Book entry.
3. Tap Close.
Verify the notification is configured with the correct settings.
Tap Save.

Disarming supervision

The Disarming Supervision notification notifies users if the system has not been disarmed by any user code.

This alert appears as an Arming Supervision Fault in the Event History and indicates the panel was not disarmed by a specified time. For more information about how to view a customer's Event History, see View the customer's system Event History.

Important: This notification is only available to customers with a commercial service package.

To create a disarming supervision notification using the Alarm.com customer website:

Log in to the Alarm.com customer website.
Click Notifications.
Click New Notification.
Click Disarming Supervision.
Enter a namefor the new notification rule.
Using the Send an Arming Reminder if the system is NOT disarmed dropdown menus, select a time the system should be disarmed.
In On the selected days, click to select either At All Times or Only During the Following Times to define specific days when this notification is applied.
To choose notification recipients:
1. Click Add.
2. Click the entries in the Address Book to be notified, or click New to add a new Address Book entry.
3. Click Close.
Verify the notification is configured with the correct settings.
Click Save.

To create a disarming supervision notification using the Alarm.com app:

Log in to the Alarm.com app.
Tap .
Tap Notifications.
Tap .
Tap .
Tap Disarming Supervision.
Enter a name for the new notification rule.
Using the Send an Arming Reminder if the system is NOT disarmed dropdown menus, select a time the system should be disarmed.
In On the selected days, tap to select either At All Times or Only During the Following Times to define specific days when this notification is applied.
To choose notification recipients:
1. Tap Add.
2. Tap the entries in the Address Book to be notified, or tap Add Contact to add a new Address Book entry.
3. Tap Close.
Verify the notification is configured with the correct settings.
Tap Save.
