Edit a Geo-Device
A Geo-Device is a geographically aware mobile device that can be configured to automate home settings and initiate additional notifications based on the location of the Geo-Device relative to your home, office, or other locations.

To edit a Geo-Device using the Alarm.com app:
- Log into the Alarm.com app.
- Tap .
- Tap App Settings.
- Tap Location Services.
- Tap Display Name.
- Click Places.
- Enter the desired name for the Geo-Device.
To edit a Geo-Device using the Alarm.com customer website:
- Log into the Alarm.com customer website.
- Click Settings.
- Click Places.
- In Manage Devices, click the name of the Geo-Device to be edited.
- In the Edit Device Name field, enter the desired name for the Geo-Device.
- Click Save.
