What login permissions does a secondary user login need to use Places?

By default, Master Control and Full Control permissions have Places capability enabled. The following are considerations when selecting permissions for a secondary login:

  • For Custom permissions, the Notification Settings feature must be selected to enable Places capability.
  • Full Control allows the user to enable Places and also make changes to the account's notifications.
  • Read Only allows the user to enable Places on their app, but they are not able to make changes to notifications.
  • For Read Only or Limited Device Access permissions, the user is able to view Places but is not capable of enabling it on their mobile device.

For more information about how to configure permissions for a secondary user, see Manage login permissions for secondary logins.
