Temporary Access Plans

Temporary Access Plans allow users with administrator permission to create and manage access control plans that start and expire automatically.

Features
- Set automatic start and ending times and dates
- Can be created ahead of the start time and expire once completed
- Users can check statuses for active, pending, and expired temporary access plans with visual indicators
- Temporary Access Plans templates can be stored and edited for returning users
Requirements
- An Alarm.com account
- A commercial service package
- An Access Control service package add-on
Create Temporary Access Plans
Temporary Access Plans can be created using the Alarm.com customer website or Alarm.com app.
To create Temporary Access Plans using the Alarm.com app:
- Log into the Alarm.com app.
- Tap More.
- Tap User Access.
- Tap Actions.
- Tap Add New Plan.
- Tap Add Schedule.
- Tap to deselect Access Plan Never Expires.
To create Temporary Access Plans using the Alarm.com customer website:
- Log into the Alarm.com customer website.
- Click User Access.
- Click Add New Plan.
- Click Add Schedule.
- Click to deselect Access Plan Never Expires.
