Temporary Access Plans

Temporary Access Plans allow users with administrator permission to create and manage access control plans that start and expire automatically.

Features

  • Set automatic start and ending times and dates
  • Can be created ahead of the start time and expire once completed
  • Users can check statuses for active, pending, and expired temporary access plans with visual indicators
  • Temporary Access Plans templates can be stored and edited for returning users

Requirements

  • An Alarm.com account
  • A commercial service package
  • An Access Control service package add-on

Create Temporary Access Plans

Temporary Access Plans can be created using the Alarm.com customer website or Alarm.com app.

  1. Log into the Alarm.com app.
  2. Tap More.
  3. Tap User Access.
  4. Tap Actions.
  5. Tap Add New Plan.
  6. Tap Add Schedule.
  7. Tap to deselect Access Plan Never Expires.

  2. Click User Access.
  3. Click Add New Plan.
  4. Click Add Schedule.
  5. Click to deselect Access Plan Never Expires.
