Post Alarm Analytics

After an alarm takes place at a home or business, customers will be asked to answer a few quick questions so they can share valuable information about what happened. The optional message will appear on the home screen of the Alarm.com app. With post-alarm analytics results, Alarm.com can help improve the customer experience and prevent false alarms. 

Note: Post-alarm questions will not be asked after every alarm.

Requirements

  • Alarm.com Alarm.com app version 5.1.1+

Features

  • Allows customers to provide timely feedback by answering a few quick questions about what took place.
  • Any login on an account that can arm/disarm the system can complete the short questionnaire.
  • The post-alarm analytics message displays on the Alarm.com app home screen.
    • The message will appear 10 minutes after a customer disarms their system following an alarm at their property.
       
      Note: The message does not appear for panic and duress signals, cancels (i.e. during Cancel/Verify), or pending alarms.

View post-alarm questions

Post-alarm questions can be answered or dismissed using the Alarm.com app.

To view post-alarm questions:
  1. Log in to the Alarm.com app.
  2. In Help us Improve:
    • Tap Yes to answer the questions.
    • Tap No to dismiss the questions.
       
      Note: The questionnaire will disappear automatically after 12 hours.
       
    • Tap Do Not Ask Me Again to opt out of future post-alarm questions.
