Do Not Disturb mode for Android devices
Do Not Disturb mode allows Android users to temporarily silence their notifications.

Requirements
- Push notifications must be enabled within the Alarm.com Alarm.com app and the user must be selected as a recipient for the alarm event notification.
- If Do Not Disturb mode is in use, the customer must have followed the steps to allow alarm notifications to override that mode.
- The device must be placed in Do Not Disturb mode. If the device is placed in Silent mode, all alerts, including critical notifications, will be silenced.
- The phone's notification volume must be set to a level greater than 0.

Override Do Not Disturb mode
Do Not Disturb mode can be overridden on Android devices to allow alarm notifications to be received while Do Not Disturb mode is enabled.
Note: Overriding Do Not Disturb mode only applies to push notifications and certain alarm notifications (e.g., intrusion, fire, carbon monoxide, water, tamper, etc.).
To override Do Not Disturb mode on an Android device:
Note: The process to configure the Do Not Disturb setting varies based on the device in use.
- Log in to the Alarm.com app.
- Tap More.
- Tap Notifications.
- Tap Override Do Not Disturb.
Note: To use the Override Do Not Disturb setting, the device must be placed on Do Not Disturb mode. If the Android device is placed on Silent mode, all alerts will be silenced including critical notifications.
