Smart Home Skill - Change a device name in the Amazon Alexa app
To change the device name on the Amazon Alexa app:
Note: Updating a name within the Amazon Alexa app does not update the device name on Alarm.com.
- Open the Amazon Alexa app.
- Tap
. - Tap the device you would like the rename.
- Tap
. - Tap Edit Name.
- Enter a new name.
- Tap Return or Done on the keyboard or tap a different area of the screen to save the changes.
