Which transformers are compatible with the SkyBell Doorbell Camera?

The SkyBell Doorbell Camera (ADC-VDB101/102/105/106/105x/106x) can be powered by a doorbell chime AC transformer or a DC power supply.

Low voltage doorbell transformer

Rating	16–24 VAC, 10 VA (20 VA if two doorbell cameras are on the circuit). Transformers without a doorbell chime need a 10 Watt, 10 Ohm resistor.
Typical location	AC transformers are most commonly installed next to the breaker box in a home or in the walls of a house. The wires may need to be traced to find the transformer. Most SkyBell Doorbell Camera installations use the existing chime and transformer in the building. The chime is an important part of the circuit because it regulates the power from the transformer.
Other considerations	If the transformer has multiple outputs, verify that the SkyBell Doorbell Camera and chime are wired to the correct leads for their power needs. For help installing a low-voltage transformer in a building, refer to a professional electrician.
