Adjust how long to request clip uploads during an alarm

Video devices can be configured to upload back-to-back clips during an alarm for 1 to 15 minutes using the Alarm.com customer website. The maximum clip length is 50 to 60 seconds, and the video device will upload clips until the overall length reaches the specified time (e.g., if 5 minutes is selected and the alarm goes off, the video device will upload five to six clips).

Clips uploaded during an alarm are system triggered clips. For more information about what event triggered clips are, see What are the differences between Camera triggered clips and Event triggered clips?.
