Take a video recording

Users can record on-demand video clips from cameras and video devices that get uploaded to their accounts. For more information about how to view the clip once it is recorded and uploaded, see View saved video. 

Alarm.com video cameras can record video in response to motion or a system event (e.g., a door is opened or the system is disarmed, etc.) using recording rules. For more information about recording rules and how to create them, see Recording video.

Note: The SkyBell Doorbell Camera cannot manually record clips.
