Change a login name
Login names can be changed on the Alarm.com app and Alarm.com customer website.
Note: If the message Login name is invalid is received when attempting to change a login name, the new login name may already be in use. For more information about login requirements, see What are the login name and password requirements?.
Change a login name
A login name can be changed using the Alarm.com app or Alarm.com customer website.

Note: The only login name that can be changed is for the login used to access the Alarm.com app.
- Log into the Alarm.com app.
Tap . - Tap Login Information.
- Tap Login Name.
- Enter the new login name in the Login Name field.
- In the Current Password field, enter your current password.
- Tap Save.
Note: If unable to change the login name, contact your service provider.

- Click Settings.
- Click Login Information.
- Click Login Name.
- Enter the new login name in the Login Name field.
- In the Current Password field, enter your current password.
- Click Save.
