Remotely change Interlogix Simon XT panel settings

Compatible panel settings can be changed using the Alarm.com app. 

Note: If these options are not available, contact your service provider for more information.

To change settings using the Alarm.com app:

  1. Log into the Alarm.com app.
  2. Tap Security System.
  3. Tap configure.
  4. Tap the setting to be edited. 
  5. Tap the desired value.
  6. Tap Save.

Compatible panel settings: 

Setting name Setting options Description
Sounds Settings Piezo Beeps Determines whether the panel piezo produces beeps based on system activity
Sounds Settings Chime Voice Determines whether the panel announces the sensor name
Sound Settings  Chime Type Determines the type of chime for the sensors that chime (i.e., voice, bell, soft bell, off)
Sound Settings  Speaker Volume Determines the volume of voice messages from the panel speaker
Sound Settings  Status Beep Volume Determines the panel piezo volume level for status sounds such as arming, trouble, and status beeps
Sound Settings  System Status Announcement  Determines whether the panel announces arming level changes
Sound Settings  Panel Piezo Alarm  Determines whether the panel piezo siren turns on for alarms 
Trouble Beeps Trouble Beeps Turns on/off the beeps issued by the security system when there is an active trouble
24 Hour Clock  24 Hour Clock Determines whether the system uses a 24 hour clock (enable) or a 12 hour clock (disable)
