Remotely change Interlogix Simon XTi panel settings

Compatible panel settings can be changed using the Alarm.com app. 

Note: If these options are not available, contact your service provider for more information.

To change panel settings: 

  1. Log into the Alarm.com app.
  2. Tap Security System.
  3. Tap configure.
  4. Tap the setting to be configured.
  5. Tap the desired value.
  6. Tap Save.

Compatible panel settings:

Setting name Setting options  Description
Sounds Settings Piezo Beeps Determines whether the panel piezo produces beeps based on system activity
Sounds Settings Chime Voice  Determines whether the panel announces the sensor name
Sounds Settings Chime Type  Determines the type of chime for the sensors that chime (i.e., voice, bell, soft bell, off)
Sounds Settings Speaker Volume Determines the volume of voice messages from the panel speaker
Sounds Settings Status Beep Volume Determines the panel piezo volume level for status sounds such as arming, trouble, and status beeps
Sounds Settings System Status Announcement  Determines whether the panel announces arming level changes
Sounds Settings Panel Piezo Alarm  Determines whether the panel piezo siren turns on for alarms 
24 Hour Clock  System Options - 24 Hour Clock Determines whether the system uses a 24 hour clock or a 12 hour clock
