View the system activity history
The system activity history shows system, website, and user activity and is useful for accessing the information you need, storing key records, and gaining new insights for your system. The system activity history shows activity that has occurred within the past 60 days.
Note: System activity history that has occurred within the past 12 months can be requested for accounts with a commercial service package. For more information on extended activity history, Export system activity for commercial accounts.
System activity history using the Alarm.com app
The Activity tab includes all activities that occur within the account. This includes system activity, Highlights, filters, and video activity.
To view the system activity history using the Alarm.com app:
- Log in to the Alarm.com app.
- Tap Activity.
- Tap
to apply select filters.
- In Timeframe, tap Recent Activity for recent events or tap Specific Date Range to select a specific time range.
- In Features, tap to expand a specific device category, then select the desired filters.
- Tap Apply once the desired filters are selected.
System activity history using the Alarm.com customer website
To view the system activity history using the Alarm.com customer website:
Note: Only 1,000 events can be displayed at a time. If a filtered search returns more than 1,000 events, then more filters need to be applied to narrow the search.
- Log in to the Alarm.com customer website.
- Click Activity.
Note: By default, the last 100 events are displayed on the first page and up to 10 pages of events can be accessed. - Specific system activity history can be searched for in various ways:
- Using the Search field, enter specific keywords to search for the desired activity.
- Click Quick Filters to access previously created filters.
- Click
to edit an existing Quick Filter.
- Click
- Click Filter to apply basic filters such as:
- In Timeframe, select Recent Activity to view the recent activity or Specified Date Range to select a specific date or date range.
- In Features, click to expand the desired device category, then select the desired filters.
- Click + Quick Filter to create a customized filter.
