Enroll, delete, or reset a Zooz Z-Wave Long Range Outdoor Smart Plug (ZEN05)
The Zooz Z-Wave Long Range Outdoor Smart Plug (ZEN05) can be enrolled in or deleted from a Z-Wave network following the instructions below.

To enroll a Zooz Long Range Outdoor Smart Plug
As a SmartStart device:
It is recommended to enroll this device as a SmartStart device to eliminate the need to put Z-Wave controllers into Add Mode or to trigger devices (as is the case when enrolling non-SmartStart S2 devices).

As an S2 device:
If the Z-Wave controller is not SmartStart-compatible, it is recommended to enroll this device as an S2 device for enhanced security and encryption features.

As an S0 device:
If the Z-Wave controller is not SmartStart or S2-compatible, this device can be enrolled in the traditional way as an S0 device.
- Plug in the Zooz ZEN05.
- Put the Z-Wave controller into Add mode.
- Press the Z-Wave button on the Zooz ZEN05 three times quickly. The LED will begin flashing blue in inclusion mode.
- When successfully enrolled, the LED will turn green for one second.
To delete a Zooz Long Range Outdoor Smart Plug
- Verify the Zooz ZEN05 is plugged in and has power.
- Put the Z-Wave controller into Delete mode.
- Press the Z-Wave button on the Zooz ZEN05 three times quickly.
To reset a Zooz Long Range Outdoor Smart Plug
- Verify the Zooz ZEN05 is plugged in and has power.
- Press the Z-Wave button on the Zooz ZEN05 three times quickly, holding the third press in for 10 seconds.
- The LED will flash green three times when successfully reset.
