Add Z-Wave devices
Below you will find steps on the various ways to add a z-wave device to an account or controller.

Add Z-Wave devices remotely
To enroll Z-Wave devices using the Alarm.com customer website:
- Log in to the Alarm.com customer website.
- Click Settings.
- Click Manage Devices.
- Click Add Device.
- Click to select what type of device to install (e.g., Lock, Lighting and Appliance Control , etc.).
- Follow the prompts to enroll the Z-Wave device.
To enroll Z-Wave devices using the Alarm.com app:
- Log in to the Alarm.com app.
- Tap

- Tap Add Device.
- Tap to select what type of device to install (e.g., Lock, Lighting and Appliance Control , etc.).
- Follow the prompts to enroll the Z-Wave device.
Add Z-Wave devices locally
The local Z-Wave enrollment procedure varies by panel. For panel-specific information, refer to the panel-specific guide for Managing Z-Wave devices.
Troubleshooting
Unable to enroll Z-Wave device
- If a device is not adding to the network, you may need to delete the device’s network data using the device deletion process or factory reset the device before you can add it to the new network (some devices come from the factory with network data).
- If a Z-Wave device continues to not enroll, see Z-Wave device is not enrolling.
