What does non-reporting mean?

A non-reporting sensor group is a security system configuration in which activated sensors do not alert the central monitoring station but may still trigger local alerts, chimes, or Alarm.com notifications. 

As long as sensor activity monitoring (SAM) is enabled for the specific sensor, Alarm.com notifications can be configured for zones assigned to a non-reporting group type.
