Configure Email Format
The format of emails sent to the user can be configured to send as plain text or HTML. Plain text can be configured if the user experiences difficulty viewing the content within an email using HTML format.
Configure Email Format
The Email Format can be updated using the Alarm.com customer website, or Alarm.com app.
To configure Email Format using the Alarm.com customer website:
Important: The email format cannot be updated using Log In with Access.
- Log in to the Alarm.com customer website.
- Click Users.
- Click the desired user.
- In Contact Information, click Email.
- Verify the email address for the selected user is correct.
- Using the Email Format dropdown menu, select either Plain Text or HTML.
- Click Save.
To configure Email Format using the Alarm.com app:
- Log in to the Alarm.com app.
- Tap

- Tap Users.
- Tap to select the user to edit.
- In Contact Information, click Email.
- Verify the email address for the selected user is correct.
- Using the Email Format dropdown menu, select either Plain Text or HTML.
- Tap Save.
