Delete a Geo-Device
A Geo-Device is a geographically aware iPhone or Android device that can be configured to automate home settings and initiate additional notifications based on the location of the Geo-Device relative to a home, office, or other location.
Important: Geo-Device management can only be done with a customer's login. Geo-Device management cannot be done through Log In with Access. For more information about logging in with access, see Using Log In with Access.
Permission requirements
The following login permissions are able to configure the Alarm.com Places feature:
- Master Control
- Full Control
- Custom with Notification Settings enabled

Delete a Geo-Device
To delete a Geo-Device using the Alarm.com customer website:
- Log in to the Alarm.com customer website.
- Click Settings.
- Click Places.
- In Manage Devices, click the Geo-Device to be deleted.

To disable a Geo-Device using the Alarm.com app:
Note: Completely removing a Geo-Device from a customer account can only be done using the Alarm.com customer website.
- Log in to the Alarm.com app.
- Tap

- Tap App Settings.
- Tap Location Services.
- Tap the Location Services toggle switch to the left position. This indicates that Location Settings has been successfully disabled for the device.
