Not Networked

The Not Networked trouble condition means that a device (commonly a contact or motion sensor) is enrolled, but is not networked into the system and cannot function fully. The device is out of sync with the wireless network or was not synchronized with the network after enrollment.

How to resolve:

Note: Verify whether or not the trouble condition is resolved after each step.

  1. Verify the device is physically present.
  2. Verify the device is within range of the panel.
  3. Verify the device is compatible with the panel and programmed correctly. For guidance on this, refer to the manufacturer of the device.
  4. Press the tamper switch or learn/enroll button on the device.
    • For more information about locating the tamper switch or learn/enroll button on the device, refer to the product's documentation or contact the device manufacturer.
  5. Replace the device battery.
  6. Verify the current signal strength of the module and the signal strength during the last 24 hours to verify any communication issues.
  7. Enroll the device again.

For further troubleshooting, contact the manufacturer of the device. The device may need to be replaced.
