Ethernet Cable Unplugged

The Ethernet Cable Unplugged trouble condition indicates that the panel does not detect any network activity from the Ethernet connection.

This trouble condition only applies to panels that are EN grade capable (i.e., Climax and DSC PowerSeries Neo).

How to resolve:

  1. Verify that a working Ethernet Cable is plugged into the panel and the router.
  2. Reseat the Ethernet cable on both ends (panel and network switch/router).
  3. Confirm the cable is not damaged and the network port is active.
  4. Verify that the router and panel are turned on and have A/C power.
  5. Once the cable is securely connected and network activity is detected, verify that the trouble condition clears.
