Alarm trouble condition

The Alarm trouble condition indicates the system is currently in an alarm state, which has not been disarmed or dismissed. A security panel alarm state is usually triggered by one of its sensors being violated during an armed state or a 24-hour zone (e.g., a panic button or smoke/fire detector) has been activated.

How to resolve:

Disarm the panel using a regular disarm code. Disarming the panel clears the alarm state and reverts the system back to its normal state.

Note: If using the SEM-Honeywell/ADEMCO Vista, the panel must be disarmed twice in a row from the keypad to clear alarms.

If there is a device on the system that is continuously reporting false alarms, then troubleshoot the specific device. For information about troubleshooting sensors, see Sensor Malfunction
