Bad Battery

The Bad Battery trouble condition appears based on a signal indicating that the battery of the panel itself or a connected touchscreen may be bloated and/or is not delivering a sufficient charge. The supported panel and/or touchscreen should also indicate the trouble locally.

A Bad Battery trouble condition is different from the Low Battery trouble condition, in that it is based on a measurement of the power delivered by the battery rather than measurement of battery power stored in the battery.

How to resolve:

Caution: Bloated batteries should be replaced immediately and disposed of safely.

If the battery is not bloated, disconnecting a reconnecting the battery may resolve, but replacement may still be necessary.
