What is quick exit?

Quick exit is a feature that can be performed locally on security panels that allows Entry/Exit or Delay sensors to be temporarily bypassed without having to disarm the system. The system will re-arm itself when the Exit Delay expires. This is useful for situations such as a user exiting to grab a newspaper or letting a pet outside and re-entering.

All panels support quick exit. However, the feature may work differently between panel types. For more information about how quick exit works for specific panels, refer to the panel manufacturer.
