Integration	To integrate the Schlage Encode account using the Alarm.com customer website: Log in to the Alarm.com customer website. Click Settings. Click Manage Devices. Click Add Device. Click Locks. Click Schlage Encode. Click Next. Enter the Schlage Encode login credentials when prompted. Accept the terms and conditions and wait for the discovery process to complete. To integrate the Schlage Encode account using the Alarm.com app: Log in to the Alarm.com app. Tap . Tap Add Device. Tap Locks. Tap Schlage Encode. Tap Next. Enter the Schlage Encode login credentials when prompted. Accept the terms and conditions and wait for the discovery process to complete.
Factory Reset	Caution: Factory resetting the lock will remove all codes and virtual keys that have been programmed into the lock. These codes cannot be retrieved, so be sure to have the default codes available to re-program the lock. To view the default codes, see www.schlage.com/en/home/faq.html?id=131939. To factory reset the Schlage Encode Smart Wi-Fi Deadbolt (BE489): Remove the battery cover. Press the black circle reset button found on the inside of the lock. The LED will flash red. Hold the button until the LED stops flashing red (approximately 7 seconds). The LED will flash solid blue when the factory default reset is complete. This may take up to 10 seconds.
