Factory reset a LiftMaster, Chamberlain, Craftsman, or Raynor Wi-Fi Garage Door Opener

A LiftMaster, Chamberlain, Craftsman, or Raynor Wi-Fi Garage Door Opener can be factory reset. 

Note: On Wi-Fi Garage Door Openers with a white learn button, deleting the motor from MyQ will clear Wi-Fi credentials. 

Notice: When a factory reset is performed, all remote controls and keyless entry codes are erased from the garage door opener. The remotes and keyless entry will need to be reprogrammed. 

To factory reset a LiftMaster, Chamberlain, Craftsman, or Raynor Wi-Fi Garage Door Opener:

  1. Press and hold the LEARN button on garage door opener until the LEARN LED goes out (approximately 6 to 8 seconds).
  2. Immediately press and hold the LEARN button again until the LEARN LED goes out.
  3. Immediately press and hold the LEARN button a third time until the LEARN LED goes out.
  4. You should hear three quick beeps. All codes, MyQ accessories and built-in gateway settings are now erased.
  5. Reprogram any remotes and keyless entry codes for the garage door opener.
