What type of battery does the Genie Door Control Module's Door Position Sensor use?
The Genie Door Control Module's Door Position Sensor included in the Retrofit Kit uses a CR2450 coin cell battery.
To replace the battery in the Door Position Sensor:
- Open the case by sliding the back cover off in the direction indicated by the arrow.
- Slide out the old battery and insert the new CR2450 battery with the plus (+) side up.
