ADC-VDB780B battery level indicators

In app versions 5.3+, users are now informed if their ADC-VDB780B battery has any active issues such as Depleted Battery battery-empty.svg, Critical Low Battery battery-0.svg (less than 10%), Low Battery battery-1.svg (less than 20%), Low Temperature battery-cold-weather.svg (less than 5ºF), and High Temperature thermostat-issues.svg (greater than 131ºF).

Note: The ADC-VDB780B batteries tend to deplete faster than normal at lower temperatures. We advise users prematurely that they need to charge their battery when in the Low Battery and Low Temperature Alert state (less than 20% and less than 32ºF ).

The battery status indicator icon will display in all video streaming interfaces on the Alarm.com app with the exception of Multi-Video Feed Grid View, Siri Shortcuts, and TV Interfaces. The battery status indicator will also appear in the ADC-VDB780B video settings on mobile.

Tapping on the battery indicator icon will display an informative message and guidance within an action sheet for each unique status. Within the action sheet, users are shown a Go To Settings button that takes them directly to their ADC-VDB780B video settings. This displays their specific battery percentage and an embedded trouble condition screen with a link to a knowledge base article to resolve their respective issue/trouble condition.

Note: Push notifications send when any ADC-VDB780B trouble condition arises, and tapping on these push notifications will direct to the appropriate trouble condition mobile web view.
