Rename a video clip

Video clips can be renamed to be more easily found or to describe the contents of the clip.

Rename video clips

  1. Log into the Alarm.com app.
  2. Tap Video.
  3. Tap Saved.
  4. Tap Play  on the desired clip.
  5. Tap Edit .
  6. Enter the new name.
  7. Tap Ok.
  1. Log into the Alarm.com customer website.
  2. Click Video.
  3. Click Saved Video Clips.
  4. Mouse over the desired clip, then click Options, or click Bulk Actions followed by Video_checkbox.png to select all the videos shown on the page.
  5. Click Edit Rename clip.
  6. Enter the desired name in Clip Description.
  7. Click Ok.
