Export video using the local interface for 2000P and 2100P series CSVRs
The 2000P and 2100P series CSVRs (ADC-CSVR2000P/1008P/2016P/2108P/2116P) allow the user to export video clips using its local interface. For more information about using the local interface, see Play back video locally to a TV using 2000P and 2100P series CSVRs.
To export video using the 2000P and 2100P series CSVR local interface:
- Verify a third-party storage device (e.g., flash drive or external hard drive) is inserted into the device.
- The external drive must be in either NTFS or FAT32 format. Any size drive may be used.
- Log into the device's local interface.
- Click Search.
- Click the desired camera to add it to the screen.
- Click the desired camera's playback. A blue outline around the playback indicates it is selected.
- Click Export.
- Click one of the following export options:
Note: Exports can take a long time depending on the amount of footage selected and whether a timestamp is selected to be included.
Video clip
Saves a video clip from the selected camera to a third-party storage device as a .mp4 file.
- Set the desired clip length.
- 1 hour (3,600 seconds) maximum of footage per export for the selected camera.
- Using the Video Quality slider, select the desired quality.
- Click to select Display date/time on video if desired.
- Select the destination to begin the export.
Snapshot
Takes a still image from the selected camera and saves it to a third-party storage device as a .jpeg file.
- Select the destination to begin the export.
Archive
Exports archive footage from the desired cameras to a third-party storage device as a .var file.
- Select all of the desired cameras.
- Any number of cameras can be selected per export.
- Click Next.
- Select the start and end date of the footage to be archived.
- 24 hours maximum of footage per export.
- Select the third-party storage device.
- Enter the desired file name.
- Click Export.
