Onboard Recording - SD Card Removed

The Onboard Recording - SD Card Removed trouble condition is triggered when the SD card is removed from a video device with an Onboard Recording rule. 

To resolve:

  1. Reinsert the SD card into the video device. 
  2. Wait a few minutes for the trouble condition to clear. To clear the trouble condition faster, view the live video feed from the device.

Review SD card information

To verify the SD card was properly inserted, the SD card information can be reviewed using the Alarm.com app and Alarm.com customer website. 

  1. Log into the Alarm.com app.
  2. Tap Video.
  3. Tap Configure on the top right of the screen.
  4. Tap SD Card Info.
  5. Tap to select the desired device.
  6. In Status, review the information to verify the SD card was inserted properly and the card was detected by the device.
  1. Log into the Alarm.com customer website.
  2. Click Video.
  3. Click Settings.
  4. Using the Video Device dropdown menu, select the desired device.
  5. Click SD Card Information.
  6. In Status, review the information to verify the SD card was inserted properly and the card was detected by the device.
