Naming thermostats can help manage systems with multiple thermostats.

Change the name of a thermostat

  1. Log into the Alarm.com app.
  2. Tap Menu.
  3. Tap Manage Devices.
  4. In Thermostats tap More next to the thermostat.
  5. Tap Edit.
  6. Enter the desired name for the device.
  7. Tap Ok.
  1. Log into the Alarm.com customer website.
  2. In the Thermostat card, click Details.
  3. In the card for the desired thermostat to be changed, click Configure. 
  4. In the Device Name field, enter the new name for the thermostat.
  5. Click Close to save.
