Change the name of a light
Customized light names can help with system management and usage. Light names can be updated using the Alarm.com app and Alarm.com customer website.
To change the name of a light using the Alarm.com app:
- Log into the Alarm.com app.
- Tap
. - Tap Manage Devices.
- In Lights, tap
next to the desired device. - Tap
. - Enter the desired name for the device.
- Tap Ok.
To change the name of a light using the Alarm.com customer website:
- Log into the Alarm.com customer website.
- Click Settings
- Click Manage Devices.
- In Lights, click next to the desired device.
- Click .
- Enter the desired name for the device.
- Click Ok.
