Change the name of a light

Customized light names can help with system management and usage. Light names can be updated using the Alarm.com app and Alarm.com customer website.  

Change the name of a light

  1. Log into the Alarm.com app.
  2. Tap Menu.
  3. Tap Manage Devices.
  4. In Lights, tap More next to the desired device.
  5. Tap Edit.
  6. Enter the desired name for the device.
  7. Tap Ok.
  1. Log into the Alarm.com customer website.
  2. Click Settings
  3. Click Manage Devices.
  4. In Lights, click More next to the desired device.
  5. Click Edit.
  6. Enter the desired name for the device.
  7. Click Ok.
