Push Notifications for Enterprise Groups

Push notifications for Enterprise Groups can be enabled to deliver real-time alerts directly to mobile devices. Push notification recipients can be customized based on their group level (e.g., region, specific location, etc.) ensuring the right teams receive critical updates. By integrating push notifications into the app, customers can streamline group communications, reduce reliance on SMS and email, and enjoy an enhanced in-app experience.

Set up a Push Device for Enterprise Groups

A Push Device for Enterprise Groups can be set up using the Alarm.com app.

To set up a Push Device for Enterprise Groups:
  1. Log in to the Alarm.com app.
  2. Select the specific group-level.
  3. Tap More.
  4. Tap Notifications.
  5. Tap to enable the Push Notifications toggle switch.

Note: The push device will be added as a generic user (e.g., Push Device 1) that can be added to the notification. It is recommended to rename the generic user after being added to the Enterprise group for easier management.

Rename or delete a Push Device for Enterprise Groups

A Push Device for Enterprise Groups can be renamed or deleted using the Alarm.com app or Alarm.com customer website.

  1. Log in to the Alarm.com app.
  2. Select the specific group-level.
  3. Tap More.
  4. Tap Users or Users Access.
  5. Tap Options next to the desired Push Device, then tap Edit.
  6. To rename the Push Device:
    1. Tap Edit next the to the device name.
    2. Enter the desired first and last names for the device, then tap Save.
  7. To delete the Push Device, tap Delete User.
  1. Log in to the Alarm.com customer website.
  2. Select the specific group-level.
  3. Click Users or Users Access.
  4. Click Options next to the desired Push Device, then click Edit.
  5. To rename the Push Device:
    1. Click Edit next the to the device name.
    2. Enter the desired first and last names for the device, then click Save.
  6. To delete the Push Device, click Delete User.
