Overview
The Alarm.com for Apple TV app brings a video-focused user experience to the TV. Customers can view all their cameras on a high-definition screen with a user interface optimized for use from the couch. Up to four simultaneous streams can be viewed on the screen at one time. If a customer has more than four streams, the feeds will rotate out every 10, 20, or 30 seconds, depending on their preferences.
Compatibility
- The Alarm.com for Apple TV app requires tvOS 16.0+.
- Almost all Alarm.com cameras, with the exception of doorbell cameras, can be viewed through the Apple TV app.
Note: The ADC-VDB755P is the exception to this and is the only Alarm.com video doorbell camera compatible with Apple TV.
- The Apple TV app supports streaming live video directly from compatible cameras.
- Third-party cameras can be viewed on the Apple TV app with firmware version 1.2.1+. The live stream will time out after 10 minutes, regardless of the settings used.
