Doorbell Camera tab is missing from the Customer app

If the Doorbell Camera tab is missing from the Alarm.com app:

  1. Verify that the customer's service package has an add-on that supports doorbell cameras.
  2. Verify the customer has the most recent version of the Alarm.com app downloaded.
    • Alarm.com iOS app must be v3.5.1 or higher, and the SkyBell Doorbell Camera is only supported on iOS 8+.
    • Alarm.com Android app must be v3.5.2 or higher, and the SkyBell Doorbell Camera is only supported on Android OS 4.4.1+.
       
      Note: Windows phones do not support live view of SkyBell Doorbell Cameras.
       
  3. If a new service package add-on was just enabled, the customer will have to log out and log back into the app.
  4. If the customer has no video devices on their account, see the doorbell camera model's installation guide in Video Devices.
  5. Verify the customer has not already met the maximum number of video devices their service package allows. If they have, a video expansion add-on is required in order to view/install the SkyBell Doorbell Camera.
