Honeywell T6 Pro Z-Wave Programmable Thermostat

The Honeywell T6 Pro Z-Wave Programmable Thermostat can be enrolled in or removed from a Z-Wave network by following the instructions below.

To enroll a Honeywell T6 Pro:

To locally add the thermostat to the controller:
During the initial setup:
  1. After you finish the installer setup and set the date and time, you will be asked to add the thermostat to the Z-Wave network. Tap Yes to include the thermostat in a Z-Wave network.
  2. Place the Z-Wave controller into Add Mode.
  3. Tap Select on the thermostat.
  4. If the inclusion procedure is successful, INCLUDED, the node ID, and the Z-Wave connected status icon appear on the screen. Your controller will also indicate whether the thermostat was successfully added to its network. Refer to the user manual of your Z-Wave controller.
    • If the procedure fails, FAILED TO INCLUDE appears on the screen. If this happens, position the thermostat closer to the Z-Wave controller and repeat the inclusion procedure.
After the initial setup: 
  1. Place the Z-Wave controller into Add Mode.
  2. Put the thermostat into inclusion mode: 
    1. Tap Menu
    2. Tap Z-Wave Setup
    3. Tap Start Including

      Note: If the device is already included on a network, it offers an option to remove. 

  3. If the inclusion procedure is successful, INCLUDED, the node ID, and the Z-Wave connected status icon appear on the screen. Your controller will also indicate whether the thermostat was successfully added to its network. Refer to the user manual of your Z-Wave controller.
    • If the procedure fails, FAILED TO INCLUDE appears on the screen. If this happens, position the thermostat closer to the Z-Wave controller and repeat the inclusion procedure.

To delete a Honeywell T6 Pro:

  1. Place the Z-Wave controller into Delete Mode.
  2. Put the thermostat into delete mode: 
    1. Tap Menu
    2. Tap Z-Wave Setup
    3. Tap Start Excluding

      Note: If the device is not already included on a network, it offers an option to include. 

  3. The device and Z-Wave controller should indicate when it is successfully deleted. An excluded thermostat will also show zero for the Node ID (000) in the thermostat's device info (Menu > Device Info). 

To reset a Honeywell T6 Pro:

Caution: Performing a factory reset will change all thermostat and system type settings back to factory defaults. 

  1. Tap and hold Menu for 5 seconds to access the advanced menu. 
  2. Tap Right arrow until you see the Reset option. 
  3. Tap to select to factory reset the thermostat. 

Additional considerations 

T6 Pro model TH6320ZW2007

The TH6320ZW2007 has the same limitations as the TH6320ZW2003, except as noted below: 

  • The TH6320ZW2007 is not compatible with GC3 or GC3e panels.

 

T6 Pro model TH6320ZW2003
  • Alarm.com does not support humidity display or control for this thermostat.
  • Auto mode is not enabled by default on the thermostat.
  • Alarm.com does not receive proactive fan mode change reports from the thermostat.
  • This thermostat is not eligible for Heating and Cooling Health reports.
  • Battery life estimates in battery mode may not be fully accurate.
  • In older versions of the thermostat, operating states do not report to Alarm.com without AC power connected.
  • This thermostat does not support remote configuration.
