Caution: When resetting the lock, all user codes, including the Master PIN code, are deleted. All programming features are reset to original default settings
Upon reset, Master PIN Code creation is the only option available and must be performed prior to any other programming of the lock. |
| Handing Process |
When the batteries are properly inserted for the first time, or after a factory reset, the lock will attempt to determine its handing - whether the lock is installed on the door or not. If the lock is not completely installed on the door, it could hand itself incorrectly. Should this occur, the lock must be installed on the door and then reset to its factory defaults, allowing the lock to "hand" itself correctly. |

Compatibility Alert
We have added support for the upgraded Yale 700 series version of this lock model. This new lock comes with the same great features of its 500 series counterpart but is equipped with Z-Wave Plus, S2, and SmartStart for enhanced range, reliability, and faster installations.
