Yale Assure Interconnected Touchscreen Deadbolt (YRC226)

To place the lock in Enroll Mode:

1. Enter the master code, followed by a press of the [⚙ Gear Button].
2. Press [7], followed by the [⚙ Gear Button].
3. Press [1], followed by the [⚙ Gear Button].

To place the lock in Delete Mode:

1. Enter the master code, followed by a press of the [⚙ Gear Button].
2. Press [7], followed by the [⚙ Gear Button].
3. Press [3], followed by the [⚙ Gear Button].

1. Remove the battery cover and batteries.
2. Remove the interior lock to access the reset button hole.
3. Re-insert three batteries and insert a small screwdriver into the hole; holding the reset button for 3 seconds.
4. While still holding the reset button, insert the fourth battery and hold the reset button for an additional 3 seconds.
5. Release the reset button.
6. Re-install the interior lock onto the door.

Upon reset, Master PIN Code creation is the only option available and must be performed prior to any other programming of the lock.

When the batteries are properly inserted for the first time, or after a factory reset, the lock will attempt to determine its handing - whether the lock is installed on the door or not. If the lock is not completely installed on the door, it could hand itself incorrectly. Should this occur, the lock must be installed on the door and then reset to its factory defaults, allowing the lock to "hand" itself correctly.
