Enroll, delete, or reset a Leviton Plug-In Outlet (DZPA1)

The Leviton Plug-In Outlet (DZPA1) can be enrolled into or deleted from a Z-Wave network following the instructions below.

To enroll a Leviton Plug-In Outlet into a Z-Wave network:

  1. Enter Programming Mode by holding the control button for 7 seconds. The Locator LED will blink amber.
  2. The device is now ready to add to the Z-Wave network.
  3. Place the Z-Wave controller into Add Mode.
  4. Tap the control button one time. The Locator LED will quickly flash green. The Z-Wave controller will begin to pair with the device.
  5. Upon successful addition to the network, the LED will turn and then blink green three times.
  6. If the adding process is not successful, the LED will flash red three times.

To delete a Leviton Plug-In Outlet from a Z-Wave network:

  1. Enter Programming Mode by holding the control button for 7 seconds. The Locator LED will blink amber.
  2. Place the Z-Wave controller into Delete Mode.
  3. Tap the control button one time. The Locator LED will quickly flash green. The Z-Wave controller will begin to exclude the device.
  4. The Z-Wave controller will confirm successful exclusion from the network.

To reset a Leviton Plug-In Outlet:

  1. Press and hold the control button for 14 seconds.
  2. After the first 7 seconds, the LED will turn amber.
  3. After 14 seconds, the LED will flash red and amber.
  4. Release the control button. The device is now reset.
