Enroll, delete, or reset a Leviton In-Wall Dimmer (DZ6HD)

The Leviton In-Wall Dimmer (DZ6HD) can be enrolled into or deleted from a Z-Wave network following the instructions below.

To enroll a Leviton In-Wall Dimmer into a Z-Wave network:

  1. Place the Z-Wave controller into Add Mode.
  2. Press the top of the switch paddle for 7 seconds. The LED will blink amber. Release the switch paddle.
  3. Press and release the top of the switch paddle again. The LED will flash green.
  4. When successfully enrolled, the LED will turn off, then blink green three times. If unsuccessful, the LED will flash red three times.
  5. Verify that the device shows up on the Alarm.com customer website or Alarm.com app and responds to commands to turn the device on/off.

To delete a Leviton In-Wall Dimmer from a Z-Wave network:

  1. Place the Z-Wave controller into Delete Mode.
  2. Press the top of the switch paddle for 7 seconds. The LED will blink amber. Release the switch paddle.
  3. Press the top of the switch paddle one time. The LED will flash green.
  4. Verify that the device was deleted from the Alarm.com customer website and Alarm.com app.

To reset a Leviton In-Wall Dimmer:

  1. Press and hold the top of the switch paddle for 14 seconds.
  2. After the first 7 seconds, the LED will turn amber.
  3. The LED will flash red and amber after 14 seconds.
  4. Release the top of the switch paddle to reset the switch.

Troubleshooting
