Enroll, delete, or reset a Jasco Enbrighten In-Wall Smart Switch (76592)

The Jasco Enbrighten In-Wall Smart Switch (76592) can be enrolled into or deleted from a Z-Wave network following the instructions below.

To enroll a Jasco Enbrighten In-Wall Smart Switch (76592):

As a SmartStart/Long Range (LR) device:

It is recommended to enroll this device as a SmartStart device to eliminate the need to put Z-Wave controllers into Add Mode or to trigger devices (as is the case when enrolling non-SmartStart S2 devices). This method also allows the device to utilize Z-Wave Long Range.

As an S2 device:

If the Z-Wave controller is not SmartStart-compatible, it is recommended to enroll this device as an S2 device for enhanced security and encryption features.

As an S0 device:

If the Z-Wave controller is not SmartStart or S2-compatible, this device can be enrolled in the traditional way as an S0 device.

  1. Place the Z-Wave controller into Add Mode.
  2. Press the toggle on the Smart Switch up or down.

To delete a Jasco Enbrighten In-Wall Smart Switch (76592):

  1. Place the Z-Wave controller into Delete Mode.
  2. Press the toggle on the Smart Switch up or down.

To reset a Jasco Enbrighten In-Wall Smart Switch (76592):

  1. Press and hold the toggle down on the Smart Switch.
  2. While holding the down toggle, push the air gap switch to the left. The LED will flash all eight colors to indicate a successful reset.

Troubleshooting

The Z-Wave device is not enrolling
